This magical tree appeared to us after we were given an assignment in kindergarten - to learn to sharpen pencils. And we got down to business. After all the pencils were sharpened, we were left with a lot of fun shavings. This is where our work came from.

First, we printed out our tree, which we then decorated with elegant, bright and, one might even say, fairy-tale leaves.

Using glue, Leva attached the shavings to a tree drawn on a sheet of paper. If there weren’t enough shavings—they were short—then they selected a similar one in color to make a round “leaf.”

Leva added colored crumbs of the pencil itself (lead) to the middle and thus our fairy-tale leaves became even brighter.
